China issues circular on developing sound recycling systems for furniture, appliances, other materials

On Feb. 5, 2024, China’s Ministry of Commerce, other government departments and a national organization issued a circular on developing sound recycling systems for furniture, home appliances and other recyclable materials.

This circular includes appliance and furniture recycling target for 2025, as well as plans for appliance and furniture recycling networks, large-scale recycling organizations, recycling model innovation and increased government support.
