On October 19, 2023, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China promulgated the “Measures for the management of voluntary emissions reduction trading of greenhouse gases (Trial)”. It means that the national voluntary emissions reduction trading market, which has been suspended for 7 years, will be restarted.
