China seeks comments on draft revised national standard that provides general rules for green product evaluation

On Oct. 18, 2023, China’s National Standardization Technical Committee on Environmental Management published a draft revision of a recommended national standard called the General Principles for Green Product Assessment (GB/T 33761-2017). The committee is seeking comments on the draft through Dec. 18, 2023. This revision would introduce low-carbon criteria, a carbon footprint calculation method, and so on.
