China’s Beijing announces program for achieving synergy between emission reduction of pollutants, CO2

On Sept. 20, 2023, the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau and other five government departments of Beijing, China’s capital, announced a municipal program for achieving synergy between the emission reduction of pollutants and CO₂. The program includes specific plans, such as for soler energy, wind power, alternatives and non-road mobile machinery powered by new energy, as shown below.
