China revises GB on energy consumption labeling of PHEV and BEV

On Sept. 8, 2023, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China published a revised mandatory national standard titled “Energy consumption label for light-duty vehicles—Part 2: For off-vehicle-chargeable hybrid electric vehicles and battery electric vehicles” (GB 22757.2-2023), which will come into effect July 1, 2024.
