China’s Guangdong province announces stricter management of exhaust gas from mobile sources

On July 7, 2023, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangdong province, China, issued an announcement of stricter management of exhaust gas from mobile sources. This announcement implements stricter oversight of the market access of newly produced vehicles and non-road mobile machinery (NRMM), as well as enhanced oversight of operational vehicles and NRMM and the use of petroleum products.
