China to amend GB on management system for RoHS

On July 28, 2023, the China Electronics Standardization Institute published a draft amendment to the recommended national standard “Requirements on management systems for restricted substances used in electrical and electronic products” and started to collect comments. The comment collection period will last until to September 5, 2023. The background of the amendment is mainly due to the revision of the “Requirements on quality management system” (GB/T 19001) and “Measures on the Administration of Restriction on Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products”.
