Vietnam amends list of controlled narcotic and precursor substances

In Vietnam, on August 25, 2022, “Governmental Decree 57/2022/ND-CP stipulating the list of narcotic and precursor substances”, was promulgated and came into force simultaneously. In the past, the list of narcotic and precursor substances was established by Governmental Decree 73/2018/ND-CP and Governmental Decree 60/2020/ND-CP which adds partial amendments, but the enforcement of Governmental Decree 57/2022/ND-CP has invalidated Governmental Decree 73/2018/ND-CP and Governmental Decree 60/2020/ND-CP.
