Vietnam sets technical standards on energy labeling for LED lighting

In Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) enacted the “Decision No. 4889/QD-BCT on technical standard for energy labeling for LED lighting” on December 27, 2018. This decision set out details on the scope of regulated LED lighting, testing standard, MEPS, contents displayed on the product, application forms, and label design. From January 1, 2020, regulated LED lighting has been required to bear energy labels in accordance with this decision.
