Singapore Publishes Bill to Partially Amend the Energy Conservation Act

On March 6, 2026, the Singapore government released the Energy Conservation (Amendment) Bill. The bill partially revises the Energy Conservation Act of 2012 and newly proposes to include products imported for an individual’s own use within the scope of regulated energy‑consuming products.
