Singapore Issues Revised Building Energy Efficiency Standard

On August 21, 2026, Singapore issued the Singapore Standard SS 530:2024+A1:2026, Code of Practice for Energy Efficiency Standard for Building Services and Equipment. This standard incorporates Amendment 1:2026 (A1:2026), which was finalized in July 2026 following a public consultation process, and applies it to SS 530:2024, the revised version of SS 530:2014, originally issued in 2014.The code of practice updates the minimum energy efficiency requirements to align with the latest international standards and technological advancements.
