Hong Kong to update list of strategic goods subject to import, export control to adapt to latest international regulations

On Jan. 17, 2025, the Hong Kong government published in its gazette an order to amend Schedule 1 of the Import and Export (Strategic Commodities) Regulations. The amendments would update Hong Kong’s list of goods subject to import and export control to reflect recent changes in international regulations such as the Chemical Weapons Convention.
