China Coating Industry Association investigates use of 73 chemicals under the New Pollutants Action Plan

On October 24, 2022, the China Coating Industry Association announced that it would conduct a survey on the use of 73 chemicals in the Coating industry, including PFCAs, UV-350.

The Action Plan on Controlling New Pollutants promulgated in May 2022 stipulated that, the “Environmental risk assessment plan for first batch of priority chemical substances” (hereinafter referred to as the “Assessment plan for first batch of priority chemicals”) would be released by the end of 2022.
