China’s Zhejiang province publishes revised regulations on solid waste management

On Sept. 29, 2022, China’s Zhejiang province published revised regulations on solid waste environmental pollution control, which will come into effect Jan. 1, 2023. The revised regulations set out the principles of reduction, recycling and neutralization of solid waste as well as the principle of holding polluters accountable.
