China’s Sichuan province releases draft plan for controlling new pollutants 
On Aug. 17, 2022, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan province, China, published on its website a Draft Plan for Controlling New Pollutants. The department accepted public comments on it through Sept. 17, 2022. The draft plan is based on a national program called the New Pollutant Control Action Plan as well as Sichuan province’s local conditions, and sets out key areas, key industries, targets and main measures for the control of new pollutants.
