China, The Guideline and Examples on Usage of Industrial Water Conservation Projects, Technologies and Equipment (2019) 
On December 17, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China announced “The Guideline and Examples on Usage of Industrial Water Conservation Projects, Technologies and Equipment (2019 Edition) encouraged by Government”. The Guideline was developed to explain “The List of Industrial Water Conservation Projects, Technologies and Equipment encouraged by Government (2019 Edition)”, which was promulgated on November 13, 2019.
“Guideline” describes the mechanism, projects, indicators, usage examples, etc. of some priority technologies introduced in the “List” in details.
“Guideline” contains 56 types of conservation projects, technologies and equipment. The following paragraph is one example called “electrochemical circulating water treatment technology” in “Guideline”.

This technology decreases the hardness of water by 40%, and achieves a removal rate of 70% of Cl-, increasing the concentration ratio to 4-6 times, saving water consumption by 30% and displacement by 30% to 70%.
