China adds seven substances to list of controlled precursor chemicals

On Aug. 2, 2024, China’s Ministry of Public Security and other central government departments announced that they would add seven substances to the list of controlled precursor chemicals, which had been issued as an appendix to the Regulations on Precursor Chemicals1. Restrictions on these chemicals will come into effect Sept. 1, 2024. The table below shows the substances added to list.
