China issues a national standard to guide enterprises to build evaluation indicator systems of green manufacturing

On April 25, 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a voluntary national standard named “Green Manufacturing--Evaluation indicators” (GB/T 43914-2024). The standard will come into effect on August 1, 2024. The standard applies to the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of green manufacturing of organizations, products and manufacturing processes. The evaluation indicator system consists of four first-level indicators, including resource and energy evaluation indicators, ecological environment evaluation indicators, health and safety evaluation indicators, and green manufacturing management evaluation indicators, and 16 second-level indicators.
