China launches 3-year action plan to strengthen occupational safety management

On February 29, 2024, the Ministry of Emergency Management of China issued a “3-year (2024~2026) action plan for strengthening occupational safety management in the chemical industry and industries handling hazardous chemicals”. The action plan was promulgated based on the requirements of the “3-year (2024~2026) action plan on occupational safety” issued by the State Council and combined with the characteristics of the chemical industry. The action plan stipulates that the permits and licenses for hazardous chemicals will be inspected.
