China relaxes import, export regulations on low-concentration triethanolamine mixtures, including detergents, cosmetics, inks

On Jan. 16, 2024, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced a relaxation of import and export regulations on low-concentration triethanolamine mixtures, effective Feb. 1, 2024. This relaxation measure is based on the Regulations on Controlled Chemicals1 and the Implementation Rules for the “Regulations on Controlled Chemicals”2. Here is an overview.
