China’s Hebei province issues water pollutant discharge standards for three catchment areas

On Nov. 15, 2023, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hebei province, China, published three water pollutant discharge local standards for the Yongding River Basin (DB13/5880-2023), Chaobai River Basin (DB13/5881-2023), and catchment of the Luan River and east Hebei coastal area (DB13/5882-2023), respectively. These standards will come into effect Jan. 1, 2024.
