POPs Convention publishes working paper on Dechlorane Plus/UV-328

On March 6, 2023, The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs Convention/hereinafter referred to as “the Convention”) published working documents of the 11th Conference of the Parties (COP 11) (held in Geneva, Switzerland May 1-12, 2023) on the recommendations of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC) to list Dechlorane Plus and UV-328 in “Annex A Abolishment” of the Convention. The working documents are as follows:

  • Recommendation by the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee to list Dechlorane Plus in Annex A to the Convention and draft text of the proposed amendment(UNEP/POPS/COP.11/13
  • Recommendation by the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee to list UV-328 in Annex A to the Convention and draft text of the proposed amendment(UNEP/POPS/COP.11/14
