WMO report for 2022: “Warming impacts are the worst on record for almost all items”

On April 21, 2023, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) released the State of the Global Climate report 2022 (hereafter referred to as “the Report”), which summarizes the global changes in land, sea, and air due to the record increase in greenhouse gases (GHGs) and their socio-economic and environmental impacts. The WMO stressed that climate change continued its advance in 2022, with damage “From mountain peaks to ocean depths.”
