Taiwan publishes documents on grouping of chemicals and (Q)SAR assessment

In October 2023, the Ministry of Environment of Taiwan published four documents, namely “Principles on grouping of chemicals”, “Overview of the validation method of (Quantitative) structure-activity relationship [(Q)SAR] model”, “Read-across assessment framework”, and “User manual of (Q)SAR ToolBox”. According to the “Regulations of new and existing chemical substances data registration”, “toxicity information” and “ecotoxicity information” must be submitted when conducting a standard registration of new chemical substances. The four documents released this time can be used to prepare for the above-mentioned information required for the standard registration of new chemical substances.
