Taiwan includes portable air conditioners as products regulated by Taiwan RoHS

On September 27, 2023, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan released the regulation of “Inspection regulations for portable air conditioners required to be inspected”. As the inspection standards in this regulation include CNS 15663 Section 5 “Content labelling” (5th version), portable air conditioners are added as products regulated by Taiwan’s RoHS regulations.
