Taiwan adds 18 new hazardous air pollutants to the emission limit regulation

On August 3, 2023, the Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration Agency announced the amendment to the regulation “The first batch of hazardous air pollutants and emission limits for the stationary pollution sources”, and renamed it as “Hazardous air pollutants and emission limits for the stationary pollution sources”. There were only 5 pollutants (Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins, Cadmium and its compounds, Lead and its compounds, Chloroethene and Trichloroethene) have been set emission limits in the annex table 2 of the previous regulation.
