Hong Kong to amend three subsidiary legislations under Noise Control Ordinance

In May 2023, the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region submitted to the Legislative Council amendment drafts to three pieces of subsidiary legislation under the “Noise Control Ordinance”, namely the “Noise Control (Air Compressors) (Amendment) Regulation 2023” (Subsidiary legislation C), the “Noise Control (Hand-Held Percussive Breakers) (Amendment) Regulation 2023” (Subsidiary legislation D), and the “Noise Control (Construction Work Designated Areas) (Amendment) Notice 2023” (Subsidiary legislation L).
