China’s Guangdong province releases draft plan to reduce VOC and NOx emissions

On Jan. 3, 2023, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangdong province, China, released a draft plan for 2023–2025 to reduce Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) and Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Emissions for Ozone Pollution Control to seek public comments. The plan aims to reduce NOx and VOCs as ozone precursors in a continuous manner. It includes industry-specific VOC emission reduction targets and requirements for petrochemical, chemical, printing, automotive and other industries.
