China publishes draft standard for recycled plastic applications in EEE 
On October 31, 2022, the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) published a draft of the group standard “Recycled Plastic Applications Technology Code for Electrical and Electronic Equipment” of the China Electronics Standardization Technology Association (CESA), and began soliciting opinions. The deadline for solicitation of opinions is November 21, 2022. The standard specifies the requirements for the supply source and performance of recycled plastics, the content of hazardous substances, certification, and labeling, and specifies how recycled plastic content is calculated, as well as the requirements for the management of companies. The standard seeks to enhance the recycling and reuse of plastics and to promote the application and innovation of recycled raw materials in the electrical and electronic industries.
