China’s Hainan province releases draft rules for solid waste pollution control 
On Nov. 9, 2022, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan province, China, released draft provincial rules for solid waste pollution control to seek comments, which were accepted through Nov. 18, 2022. These rules cover cases that are not specifically covered by the national Solid Waste Environmental Pollution Control Law. For example, the proposed rules deal with hazardous waste disposal as well as listing cases that lead to hazardous waste license suspension or revocation.
