China’s Hebei province revises regulations on solid waste management

On Sept. 28, 2022, the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Hebei province, China, published revised "Hebei Regulations on the Control of Solid Waste Environmental Pollution," which will come into effect Dec. 1, 2022. These regulations will replace the current version issued in 2015 to reflect new provisions of the national Solid Waste Environmental Pollution Control Law, which was also revised in April 2020, as well as other latest national requirements and measures for solid waste and pollution control.
