China’s Zhejiang province releases draft plan for new pollutant control

On Sept. 30, 2022, The Department of Ecology and Environment of Zhejiang province, China, released a draft plan for new pollutant control to seek public comments, which will be accepted through Oct. 30, 2022. The plan includes inspections in chemical and other key industries; bans, restrictions and discharge restrictions on key controlled new pollutants; and new pollutant control model programs where each city specifies a key field and carries out its model program in this field.
