China to support environmental protection of Yellow River basin with state funds 
On Aug. 24, 2022, China’s Ministry of Finance announced a program to financially support the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin with state funds. The program aims to establish a framework based on state funds and the market to use natural resources for diversified purposes. It includes a policy that encourages the conservation and concentrated use of water resources by means such as granting income tax exemption and reduction to companies that meet certain criteria.
