The guidelines apply to projects of new construction, remodeling and extension of facilities for hazardous chemicals that have obtained a hazardous chemical safe production license and safe use license according to the law. Construction projects for the storage, exploration and mining of hazardous chemicals and certain other types of operations related to hazardous chemicals are not covered by the guidelines.
