China releases FAQs on environmental management registration of new chemical substances

On June 30, 2022, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the department that processes new chemical registrations, published on its website FAQs on the registration of new chemical substances. This time round, the ministry answered 15 questions it had received. These questions include those about how to register substances, how to check the progress of an application and how to apply for the addition of substances to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China.
