Guangdong, China release 11 technical documents on VOC control measures for key emission industries

To accelerate the reduction of VOC emissions and continuously improve the air quality,  on June 5, 2022, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangdong Province, China, released 11 technical documents on VOC control measures, including "Technical Guidelines for Comprehensive VOC Control in the Electronic Components Manufacturing Industry," and guidelines for the use of VOC emission factors in plastic products and manufacturing industry, artificial stone manufacturing industry and electronic components manufacturing industry. These 11 technical documents targeting at the key VOC emission industries in Guangdong Province, including electronic components manufacturing industry, plastic products manufacturing industry, metal rolling and drawing industry, and building materials manufacturing industry, and provide them with technical guidelines for VOC comprehensive control measures, the investigation of VOC emissions and treatment effectiveness, the use of VOC emission factors, and the grade evaluation for classification management according to air pollutant emission status.
