China’s Shandong province announces program for accelerating development of waste recycling systems

On Oct. 23, 2024, the General Office of the government of Shandong province, China announced a Provincial Program for Accelerating the Development of Waste Recycling Systems, with the aim of implementing the Opinions of the State Council General Office on Accelerating the Development of Waste Recycling Systems (announcement code: 国办发〔2024〕7号), accelerating the implementation of comprehensive resource conservation strategies, developing resource security assurance capabilities, promoting carbon peaking and carbon neutrality efforts, and promoting green and high-quality development of the economy and society.
