China adds 35 substances to Existing chemical inventory

On May 20, 2024, the China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced the addition of 34 substances to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances. Those 34 substances were included in the inventory because they had already been registered under the “Regulation on the new chemical substance registration management” (MEE Order 12). They will no longer subject to registration or notification under the regulation for new chemical substances.
