China exempts certain products containing γ-butyrolactone(GBL) from import permit

On December 28, 2023, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Commerce and other 4 departments jointly issued the “Announcement on optimizing service management measures for certain products containing γ-butyrolactone (GBL)”. From January 1, 2024, the import permit will be exempted for certain products, including printing ink and photoresist.
