China’s Tianjin issues regulations on urban drainage, recycled water use

On Sept. 22, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress of Tianjin, China, published municipal regulations on urban drainage and recycled water use, which will come into effect April 1, 2024.

These regulations have been developed based on the Water Law¹, the Regulations on Urban Drainage and Sewage Treatment² and other laws and regulations, taking into account the city’s conditions.
