China to promote electronic certificates and logo for compulsory product certification 
On Aug. 8, 2023, China’s Certification and Accreditation Administration announced a revised scheme for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) certificates and the CCC logo. The updated scheme will promote and fully implement electronic CCC certificates. The CCC logo will get an electronic form in addition to the currently used standardization logo and printed/engraved logo.
The revised scheme will take effect Jan. 1, 2024. The Requirements for Compulsory Product Certificate Labeling1 will be revoked on the same day.
