Vietnam develops implementation schedule of new Law on Environmental Protection 
On March 12, 2021, the Prime Minister of Vietnam promulgated the Prime Minister’s Decision 343/QD-TTg on the Implementation Plan of Law No. 72/2020/QH14 on Environmental Protection. This plan mainly indicates the following three points:
- Publicity and training on the Law on Environmental Protection
- Review of legal documents
- Enactment of legal documents on detailed provisions and implementation guidance of the Law on Environmental Protection.

With regard to “3.” above, the laws and regulations to be led by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) in the Annex “List of Laws and Regulations Planned to be Prepared and Lead Agency” of this plan are as follows:
