Vietnam partially amends decree on control of insecticides and fungicides for household and medical use

On October 10, 2024, the Vietnamese government promulgated the Decree No. 129/2024/ND-CP Partially Amending and Supplementing the Decree No. 91/2016/ND-CP on the Control of Household and Medical Insecticides and Fungicides and the Decree No. 155/2018/ND-CP Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles on Conditions for Business Investment in Sectors under the Jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health. The Decree No. 91/2016/ND-CP regulates the manufacture, testing, distribution, trade, transport, and import/export of insecticides and fungicides for household and medical use. However, substances used solely for food and medical equipment disinfection are exempt from the scope of this Decree.
