South Korean announces entire revision of Framework Act on Resource Circulation to promote circular economy

On January 31, 2023, South Korea Ministry of Environment announced a key promotion plan in the field of resource recycling for the year 2023. Starting with the promulgation of the Act for Promotion of Transition to a Circular Economy Society on December 31, 2022, the plan includes a full-scale transition to a circular economy in all processes including production, consumption, and recycling.
