South Korea orders recall of children’s products, electrical products, etc. that violate safety certification standards

On March 1, 2024, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea (MOTIE) announced that a safety standard inspection conducted on a total of 1,008 products in 71 types of products found 42 products to violate safety standards. The target products for the inspection included children's products, electrical products, and household products. MOTIE has issued a recall order to the manufacturers of these products.
