Singapore Appoints Carbon Rating Service Providers to Support Carbon Credit Assessments

On November 7, 2025, Singapore’s National Environment Agency (NEA) announced the appointment of three private carbon credit rating agencies—BeZero Carbon Ltd. (headquartered in London, United Kingdom), Calyx Global Inc. (headquartered in Leadville, Colorado, United States), and Sylvera Ltd. (headquartered in London, United Kingdom)—as carbon rating service providers responsible for conducting independent evaluations of carbon credits. Under this appointment, these firms will serve as members of the Carbon Ratings Panel, providing independent assessments of crediting methodologies and carbon credit projects, thereby supporting evaluations of the environmental integrity of credits purchased by Singapore.
