Singapore Publishes Standard on Energy Efficiency of Data Centre IT Equipment

Singapore’s agency of national standards Enterprise Singapore has published the Singapore Standard SS 715:2025 Energy Efficiency of Data Centre IT Equipment in August 2025, which establishes energy efficiency criteria for IT equipment used in high-power-consuming data centers. The standard applies to servers, storage and networking equipment, including newly installed units and replacement equipment and their components. Data centers operating such equipment must also monitor temperature, humidity, and airflow conditions to comply with the standard.
