Singapore mandates climate-related disclosures for large companies starting from fiscal 2025

Following the announcement by the second Finance Minister of the introduction of mandatory climate-related disclosures for listed companies and large unlisted companies at the Ministry of Finance’s Budget Committee in Singapore on February 28, 2024, SGX RegCo, the regulatory arm of Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX), announced the details. From fiscal 2025, listed companies must make climate-related disclosures in accordance with the standards set by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
