Singapore launches Playbook and Knowledge Hub to improve sustainability in logistics industry

On February 21, 2024, Enterprise Singapore, in partnership with the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA), released the “Sustainability Playbook for Logistics Enterprises” and the “Green Supply Chain Knowledge Hub.”  These guides are aimed at raising awareness about sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and governance) in the logistics industry, as well as enhancing sustainability in the logistics industry. The background to the release is that 11% of global carbon emissions come from logistics such as freight transportation, ports and warehouses, and the industry’s sustainability is a concern.
