Singapore released new system to manage lifting equipment and pressure vessels

On July 26, 2023, the Singaporean Ministry of Manpower (MOM) issued a circular to owners and stakeholders of lifting equipment and pressure vessels, announcing that a new online service system (WSH e-Services) to manage these equipment/vessels starts operating from August 11, 2023. With this new system, a new label called "registration summary" has been introduced, enabling to check the registration status of the equipment/vessel and information on inspection performed. The circular also stipulates that certificate/inspection reports for these equipment/vessels shall be digitalized. Owners of such equipment/vessels are now required to print out a registration summary, affix it to their equipment/container, and confirm and update their e-mail address for receiving test certificates and inspection reports.
